I haven't been around lately. Haven't had much time to crochet or do any crafts. i been helping a few friends with their kids. That's the military life. always helping someone. i dont mind. i like to think that if it came to it others would help me. =) I just been looking at blogs mostly looking for ideas and i came across this Giveaway!

Any hook you want. I used f hook to make a 4.5 inch sitting doll.
Felt for face
Embroidery floss to sew the felt to the head
Safety eyes

Inc= increase
SC= single crochet
Dec= Decrease
*=Repeat till end of round.

Rnd 1- Magic Ring 6
Rnd 2- inc all (12)
Rnd 3-inc 1, sc 1 *
Rnd 4- inc 1, sc 2 *
Rnd 5- Inc 1, sc 3 *
Rnd 6-9 Sc all
Rnd 10- dec 1 sc 3 *
Rnd 11- dec 1, sc 2 *
Rnd 12- dec 1, sc 1 *

(This is where you would want to put in any eyes and the face because after this the body will begin and it will be closed up.)
Rnd 13- sc all
Rnd 14- inc 1, sc 1 *
Rnd 15- inc 1, sc 2 *
Rnd 16- Inc 1, sc 2 *
Rnd 17-21 sc all
Rnd 22- - dec 1 sc 3 *
Rnd 23- dec 1, sc 2 *

Rnd 25- dec all and sew up hole and weave in all ends.

Leave long enough yarn to sew the arms to the body about 6 inches.

LEGS

5.dec 3, sc till end of round

Tail.
Worked on a foundation ring and turned.
Row 1. Chain 24 chain 1 turn
Row 2. Sc till end it will coil up on its self.

Ears.
1. magic ring 6
2. inc all
3. inc 1, sc 1 *
4. inc 1, sc 2* finish off. Leave tail to sew to head.

I haven't been one to be taking pics lately. although i should have! I made a some match boxes for a swap that i sent out already. should have photographed them and the stuff i put in them.... especially the hand sewn owl mini plushie i made. DOH! but at least i remembered to take pics of some of the things in my front yard. I dont have a back yard cuz i live in Military housing so the front will have to do for now. These lil yellow flowers were grown from seed as an experiment to see if those Dollar store wild seed packs actually worked lol and they do!! i wasn't expecting these to grow but they have now added some bring colors to my steps. Although now im a little mad. I had quite a few of these but the dang landscapers took a weed whacker to a few of the stems. Grrrr i have since placed a little wire thing in front of it.

Some other things in my yard this year are tomatoes which is growing like mad! ive never had this many tomatoes before i have so many i dont know what to do with them. i been giving them away to my neighbors. i made an awesome pico de gallo yesterday for labor day to go with out tacos.

the beginnings if jalapenos. They are a little late this year cuz at first it wasnt growing because it was to close to the tomato plant so i dug it up and put it in a container and they are finnally starting to grow. Oh and before i forget. I reallllly need to put that monkey pattern on here.

Its been a while since i posted but here she is a cute lil bear she is about 5in tall sitting. i got her from a Japanese pattern book which my cool neighbor got for me. I even hand painted her eyes! i love those clear saftey eyes! now to make 2 more for my neighbors kids.

Wow. It seems like i have sone so much but i only have a few to show for it lol. the bunny was very time consuming... i made a bunch of these lil mushrooms for the team over at www.shuttercal.com. Awesome website. they give you a lil calender and you fill it to your hearts content with one picture for everyday of the month. very convenient tool for you 365ers. now i just need to send the lil shrooms to them....

its been a while! im making another bunny from a pattern i found. ( link at bottom) the first one i made was a bit sloppy so i tougth if give it another go with some embellishments. I found a great tutorial that i found at Gourmet Amigurumi. im excited at how it will turn out!! im almost done.
